Ah yes, the famed new tool for those crazy Jerseyians to attract new development-- The River Line. Let's just say, I took a little ride on that lovely little vehicle of transport. Pretty schwanky, I'd have to say. The seats were uber-comfortable (made by one of our clients, incidentally) and the ride through the Camden through Trenton regions was quite enjoyable. Brought along my economic development geek (er, companion) and had a grand ol' time. Let's just say, though, Trenton has _nothing_ in the way of food. That's right. Never mind it's the capital of the state. Doesn't mean a dang thing. The highlights- The State Building with a pavilion that reminded me of the Salk Institute in CA done by Louis Kahn. And, oh, the train station. That's ok-- geek and I made fun of the place even if we're not likely to go again.
As a nice side note, going to Sara's crew races are fun. Come on out girls. I even found a quick way to get to the Cooper River via PATCO.
