if you wanna sing out...

so, this is a bit crazy. i spoke to some fellow ultimate frisbee players today, and apparently, someone picked me to be on their team for summer league ultimate. i'll be honest. i was a bit dumbfounded when i heard. i mean, you could say my attendance this past spring has been less than stellar, but maybe someone saw me last summer (when i played on a good team) and thinks i have potential. ah, potential. it amuses nonetheless. frisbee + caroline + heat= not a happy bopper. thankfully, most of summer league games are actually played in the evenings during the week, when the heat is not at its height.

then again, i should get used to the heat. i'm not guessing mexico is going to be all nice and breezy so it might be wise to acclimate myself now.
