if you wanna sing out...

so, most of you know that i'm fairly about my coffee drinks nowadays. yes, having a starbucks in the lobby of my office building probably facilitated that little penchant...but there you have it (as daddy might say). what's done is done. at the same time, i have a desire to support the little guys. the mammoth corporations have fallen out of favor with me, you might say. i recognize that starbucks has one drink that the local shops don't carry, though: the frappucino. and i'd have to say-- it is uber-yummy! so, after working hard all this week, i figured i'd treat myself to a little frapping goodness. i take the elevator down to the lobby level and look at the newly-created signs at Starbucks. and i just sort of stared there in bewilderment for a second. is a tall frappucino (a small, not a large, mind you) really $3.30? Let's get real. And i rebeled, purchasing an iced tea instead [cause it was a lot cheaper]. starbucks has made me a coffee convert. i will not be supporting their raising their prices anymore than they already do. ca-razy. that's all i have to say about that.
