if you wanna sing out...

i had so much fun with the horstmann eight last saturday that this weekend, me and a bunch of franciscans returned to that place of yummy apple pies, funnel cake, butterfly fries, and cider. this time, in addition to the food fest of last saturday, the franciscans and i picked apples: mutzsoo, winesap, and stamen. can i tell you? so fun! yeah, at one point, i'm climbing a tree to pick a mutzsoo apple about 9 feet up. and let's not forget the eating fest. we all went to the linvilla store and returned to the picnic table for a fantabulous feast-- caramel apple pie (still warm!), pull apart vegetable bread, a sausage calzone, funnel cake, and apple cider. I was in heaven!
