if you wanna sing out...

i have a window (well, half window, really-- it's cut off by the wall of my cubicle) just above my cubicle. it gets a little light, aka i can sort of see the sky. sort of being the operative word here. and when it's sunny, the sky looks sort of bright and if i'm lucky, the rays make it to my place of working/computing/underwriting. it's funny how times change. i used to love the rain...bask in it really. splash around in the puddles and run in the rain and all that. now, the dark days are a little less appealing. thankfully, we have the gorgeous red, yellow, and orange fall leaves to balance things out.
